30 Day Film Challenge: Day 22; Your Favorite Horror Film

April 30, 2011

This is my favourite in that I’ve never seen it again and never will. It scared the absolute daylights out of me. Ive not even seen any of the sequels. I was fifteen when I saw this and twenty four years later, the memory of that one viewing still gives me nightmares. I also won’t […]

30 Day Film Challenge: Day 21; Your Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film

This could fit in a number of categories, and it is by no means the only choice for this one. My favourite drama film is; Saving Private Ryan. I remember watching this on I think it was Christmas Eve. One of the few war films that stands up to repeated viewings for me.

30 Day Film Challenge: Day 16; A Film You Used to Love, But Now Hate

April 23, 2011

I loved this film when it came out, and I did for some years after, buy now cringe every time I see it. I don’t know if it’s the fact the music is more Irish than Scottish. Or if the fact that the historical inaccuracies are so numerous they overwhelm you. It could just be […]
